At Uncle Bernie's Farm, all our elk are range fed on our
farm 14 km northeast of Airdrie, Alberta. We don’t use
any antibiotics or hormones of any kind. We transport our
elk directly to a government inspected processing plant ourselves.
The animals are not overcrowded or stressed and are humanely
treated during the entire process thus ensuring a quality
meat product. When the animals are processed they are inspected
twice. Once, visually, and then a sample of the brain stem
is sent in for laboratory testing to ensure that the animal
was healthy.

We have been raising Elk since 1987 on our farm just east
of Airdrie, Alberta. We raise the animals in a natural environment
with as little interference as possible. We offer premium
meat products for you and your family to live the healthy
lifestyle you deserve. Last year, we introduced Bison to compliment
our live of Elk products and are currently making preparatations
to bring home a herd of Bison.

raising pasture-raised turkeys & chickens. Our chickens
are in the chick barn until they are 3 weeks old and then
are introduced to the pasture during the day with the warmth
and safety of the barn at night."
